Supporting Oceans of Hope UK: Donate Your Unused Foreign Currency

Natalie Turner Oceans of Hope

Between now and July, Natalie Turner is raising money for Oceans of Hope UK, a charity who organise sailing events for people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Natalie was diagnosed with MS in 2020, after experiencing sudden and challenging symptoms.

As part of her fundraising efforts, Natalie is reaching out to our community for support. She’s seeking donations of any out-of-date or unused foreign currency you may have lying around. Those forgotten coins and notes can be turned into invaluable support for Oceans of Hope’s initiatives. You can drop off at 36 Hillside, Cheddington or call/message her on 07958 400402 to arrange collection.

But that’s not all! Natalie is also excited to be holding an online auction on 1 July to further support Oceans of Hope. There will be some fantastic items on offer, from an Alpaca Walk to t-shirts and gift items. Natalie welcomes further donations of products or services from anyone willing to contribute. Whether it’s a handmade craft, a voucher for a local business, or an experience to remember, your donation will help raise vital funds for this worthy cause. For now, you can view lots and follow progress at www.facebook.com/groups/oceansfundraiser.

You can also contribute through Natalie’s JustGiving page. A humble donation of just £2 (or whatever amount you can spare) will go a long way in empowering Oceans of Hope to continue their life-changing work and her employer will match her total up to £1000.

For those curious to learn more about Oceans of Hope and the profound impact they have on the MS community, please visit their website at www.oceansofhope.co.uk. And if you or someone you know is affected by MS, do consider joining one of their sailing events this year.

Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, let’s make waves of change and bring hope to those who need it most.
