Pitstone Green Museum
Looking for a fun and informative day out for the whole family?
Nestled in the shadow of Ivinghoe Beacon, lies a hidden gem of an attraction just waiting to be explored.
The old Victorian Pitstone Green Farm which fell out of use as a working farm in the early 1970s, is now being run as a charity by a group of knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers from Pitstone and Ivinghoe Museum Society (PIMS).
The Museum has over 40 attractions from model railways to a Lancaster Bomber cockpit, from farm machinery to classic vehicles, from a huge working Rack Saw to a 28l gas engine and more.
Visitors can also get hands on and try lacemaking and pottery, or take an adventure on a tractor to Pitstone Windmill.
The Museum is open to the public 9 times a year with approx 50 volunteers on hand to help, explain and educate visitors to get the most out of their day.
